A Storyteller may allow for feeding territories. A feeding territory is a prearranged area in town where only select vampires may feed. Most typically, these are set up through a mandate from the domain's leadership.
If a Storyteller wishes to allow for feeding territories, she will begin by determining how many additional areas there are within a city where vampires can safely feed and how large those areas are.
Territory Rating: Small - Number of Cards: 2 - Average Number of Vampires: 1-2
Territory Rating: Moderate - Number of Cards: 4 - Average Number of Vampires: 2-3
Territory Rating: Notable - Number of Cards: 6 - Average Number of Vampires: 4-5
Territory Rating: Significant - Number of Cards: 8 - Average Number of Vampires: 5-7
Territory Rating: Large - Number of Cards: 10 - Average Number of Vampires: 6-8
Assigning Territories
By default, feeding territories are unassigned. The domain's Authority may assign a feeding territory through public proclamation.
Poaching from Other Territories
When the Rack is depleted, the nearby feeding territories begin to look very tempting. Poaching in another's territory can lead to consequences, but only if one is caught.
If a character wishes to poach from another territory, she should notify the Storyteller. If any characters have spent downtime actions to patrol the territory, the Storyteller will perform a simple challenge with the poaching character for each downtime action spent on patrol.
