Evil has existed since the dawn of time. It has always been there, hiding in the shadows… watching, learning, and experiencing human history from countless vantage points. As part of that infernal complex, you may use the shared knowledge of the Swarm to translate anything you touch, no matter its medium or language.

Slice an X across your palm and touch it to any object that contains information (such as a book, a computer hard drive or even a cell phone). You enter into an extended trance-like state as you reach out to the collective infernal powers from beyond for their aid. As long as you remain in contact with that item you may work towards transcribing as much of the information contained within it that you have sufficient time to write down. Your Storyteller is the final arbiter of how long this ritual takes to complete based on the information you are transcribing, with the minimum time being 5 minutes. While transcribing, you need not understand the language of the original text, nor do you need to bypass any mundane encryption or security. If the item is magically protected, you must succeed in a static challenge using your Mental Attribute + Occult Skill versus a difficulty of 15.
