Many infernalists find that their new lifestyle is quick to erode their Humanity as their Beast constantly boils in anger over their depraved actions. For some, turning to a Path of Enlightenment is the only way to avoid certain wassail - easily worth that alien, unnatural countenance that signals the departure from Humanity. For an infernalist, however, it’s often necessary to remain beneath notice; you have discovered the price of hiding your true self to blend in with the crowd, and it’s one you’ll easily pay. 

In order to enact this ritual, you must spill your blood over an object of innocence. This may be a blanket stolen from a child, or the promise ring gifted to a first love. The blood is magically consumed by the object. While the forces of hell feed on this font of innocence they hide your inhumanity. As long as you carry this item upon you no longer exhibit the outward signs of possessing a morality merit. You do not display any physical changes, nor do you radiate inhumanity.  However, while this ritual is in effect you gain 1 Beast trait that cannot be removed for the duration of the ritual.  This ritual does not alter your beliefs and certain actions taken towards that nature might alert onlookers to the possibility of your inhumanity. Especially if you take actions that would rile the beast of a human vampire.

This ritual lasts until sunrise when the object of innocence is consumed by the forces of Hell.
