The Grandest Trick

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist. In a similar vein, The Grandest Trick allows you to fool your body into believing you are no longer a vampire. Once activated, this trick only lasts until the next sunset, but during that time you are completely human, losing all advantages and disadvantages of being a vampire yet retaining all memories. This power has allowed the eldest of the bloodline to meet in private, throw off the trail of those hunting the Weirdling, or obtain items or information otherwise difficult to acquire at night.

System
Spend 5 points of blood to enact The Grandest Trick. At the next sunrise you become mortal until the sun sets. During this time, you lose all vampiric abilities. Your traits are capped at 10 and your skills are capped at 5. You lose the ability to spend Blood for any reason and cannot activate any disciplines. Any blood removed from you is human and non-supernatural in nature. While you are under the effect of The Grandest Trick you appear generic and unobtrusive. You fit into your surroundings and do not appear to be anything other than an average person. For the duration of the power, you are considered to be using an Alternate Identity of 5. If this Alternate Identity is somehow broken, any parties investigating you only learn that you are not who you claim to be and do not discern your true identity.
